4. Google Services & User Data
If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information from your Google account (such as your name and email address) to authenticate you and manage your Gutzfit client account. We use this information only to provide account access and related coaching services. We do not use Google Sign-In data for advertising.
Gutzfit uses the Google Calendar API to schedule strategy calls and coaching sessions on behalf of the coach. When you book an appointment, we may create or update calendar events and Google Meet links for your scheduled sessions. We only access Google Calendar data as needed to create, update, or cancel appointments booked through our platform.
We do not sell Google user data. Google user data is stored and processed in line with this Privacy Policy and is shared only with service providers that help us operate the platform, as described in section 7.
5. How We Use Your Data
We use your personal data to:
- Provide coaching services, programmes, and client portal access
- Process bookings, payments, and account management
- Communicate with you about your coaching, sessions, and account
- Improve our services and website
- Comply with legal and regulatory obligations

We process personal data under UK GDPR on the basis of: contract performance (delivering coaching services), legitimate interests (operating and improving our business), consent (where required, e.g. marketing cookies), and legal obligation.

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with trusted service providers who assist us in operating our business (e.g. payment processing via Stripe, email delivery, hosting). All processors are bound by data protection agreements.

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including legal, accounting, and reporting requirements. Coaching records are typically retained for the duration of your engagement and a reasonable period thereafter.
